The Very Rev. Townsend Waddill – Rector 

Fr. Townsend has been a parish rector since 2008, and has served parishes in both Louisiana and California. He is a graduate of Nashotah House Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity degree. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida, and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Rollins College. He is married to his wife, Lisa, who is a teacher. He has two sons, Benjamin (19) who serves in the U.S. Navy and William (14) who is a freshman at San Joaquin Memorial. Father JimThe Rev. Canon James Snell – Associate Rector

Father Jim has served as a priest for over 30 years, more than 24 at Saint Columba as Rector.  He was the Dean of the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour in Minnesota prior to coming to us in 1997, and the Rector of a parish in northern California before that.  He has an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, a Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University, and a Master of Divinity from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin.  He enjoys working with people in ministry.  His sermons are Biblically based, laced with humor, and timely.  Come and meet him.   (Email Father Jim: [email protected])

The Rev. Phil Berghuis – Assistant Rector

Father Phil grew up in the Central Valley near Manteca.  He went to the University of California at Davis and earned a degree in religious studies. After college, he was licensed as a registered nurse and worked for a short time in long term care. He served as head sacristan at and graduated from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in May 2015 with a Masters of Divinity.  Father Phil is excited about pastoral care, worship, preaching, being a part of the community, and teaching about Scripture and the history of the Church. Fr. Phil is also the full time Administrative Assistant for the Diocese. For fun, Father Phil enjoys reading, films, and comic books. (Email Father Phil: [email protected])
